About Us

The Fabric Patch is a locally owned and operated quilting store in Pana, IL. We have been providing quilting services and supplies throughout our community since 2011. Our goal is for every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. We do this by providing exceptional customer service and quality quilting supplies in Pana.

Owners, Brenda and Mike Gelsinger opened the doors to The Fabric Patch in September, 2011. They love being a part of the Pana Community, with over 30 years of marriage, raising their family and participating in many local events. As a long time quilter, Brenda was always piecing quilt tops because she never had a long arm machine. She identified the need for a local supplier of quilting services and quilting machines in Pana and the surrounding area. Soon after, The Fabric Patch opened its doors.

The Fabric Patch is an Authorized Handi Quilter Representative in Pana and the surrounding communities. We carry a full line of Handi Quilter mid and long arm quilting machines, sewing and quilting notions, fabric and embroidery thread and stabilizers. Brenda and Mike specialize in sales, service and education. Brenda has attended multiple training classes, including computerized quilting in order to deliver the most up to date education for their customers. Mike has a lifelong mechanical career and most recently has become your local Certified Handi Quilter Technician. In 2014, 2015 and 2016, they received the HQ Way Award for customer satisfaction.
